AIIA ACT Branch is thrilled to be hosting H.E. Mr. M. Allama Siddiki, High Commissioner of Bangladesh to Australia, to deliver a presentation on Bangladesh in the Asia-Pacific region. Bangladesh's position in the Asia-Pacific region, coupled with its focus on economic development, demographic dividend, and peacekeeping missions, presents a compelling case for its flourishing trajectory. Its strategic location, thriving industries, energetic workforce, and commitment to peace demonstrate its potential to emerge as a key player in the Asia-Pacific region.

H.E. Mr. M. Allama Siddiki, High Commissioner of Bangladesh to Australia is concurrently accredited to New Zealand, Fiji, Solomon Islands, Vanuatu and Samoa as well. Prior to his assignment to Australia, he was posted as Ambassador of Bangladesh to Turkey (2015-2020) and Denmark (2020-2022) respectively. He has diverse work experiences in various capacities in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dhaka and Bangladesh Missions abroad especially in Tokyo, Kolkata, Islamabad and London. Mr Siddiki obtained Master of Social Science in Public Administration from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. Moreover, he participated in various training/study programs in Tokyo, Geneva, New York and Hawaii.
